Dr. Israel Maldonado,(A.K.A. "Dr. Izzy")  chiropractor, received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life Chiropractic College (currently known as Life University) in Marietta , Ga. He has been in active practice since 1990 and has been the Director of Pura Vida Chiropractic Center located in Boca Raton, Florida since 1992.

Dr. Maldonado is dedicated to assisting his practice members and the public experience maximum Health & Vitality utilizng Natural Chiropractic Strategies & Principles.

He is a founding Member of both the I.C.A. Pediatric Council and Council on Fitness & Sports Health Science: member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association. Currently he is a Board member of the Southern Chiropractic Association.

Dr. Maldonado was awarded the 2005 Chiropractor of the Year Award from the Southern Chiropractic Association and is also a former co-host of the radio show High Performance Health and Healing.
